I seem to always be drawn to white rooms. I love how they are a blank canvas that you can add pops of color and texture to and that's why I love this room so much. The white is calming, crisp, and bright, and the headboard and pillows add that punch of energy to the room.
One of the things I love are the color and pattern combinations on the bed. The blush pink pillows with that burnt orange headboard is unexpected but totally works. The blue swirly pillows are the complement color to the orange on the color wheel and that floral patterned pillow in the front ties all the colors together,
Mixing patterns can feel tricky, but the patterns work well together here because one is a large scale print and one is a smaller print and the colors tie into each other.
Art should be in every room. It adds color, interest, and shows off your personality. I don't know what it is about this buffalo print above the bed but I love it! The print is large and makes a statement. When hanging art, it's usually better to go larger rather than smaller. You know, go big or go home and all. ;)
I love how the bedside lamps don't take up space on the night stands and I also love the metallic sheen of the shades that adds a little touch of shiny to the room.
You know I'm always saying there should be a little green in every room to add life and the little bouquet of flowers on the nightstand does just that.
