Ugh. Exercise. I wish I loved it, but I just don’t. Yes, I love how it makes me feel, but I also love how my bed makes me feel and how hugging a warm cup of coffee in my pajamas in the mornings me feel.
Last week, even before New Years and resolutions were the talk of the web, I determined that me and my food baby needed to part ways, and I was going to get up and walk two hours every day and hope that somewhere along the way it would fall off. Ambitious much?
Well, that first day back on the tread mill was my check in with reality. Two hours on a tread mill is just too boring, and ain’t nobody got time for that. So I decided to settle on two miles a day instead. Still boring, but much more manageable time wise.
I do feel better, and it gives me the chance to listen to my new favorite podcast, The Happy Hour, by Jamie Ivey. I feel like I’m hanging out with girlfriends while I work out, which is one of the goals of her podcasts If you haven’t already, you should definitely give it a listen!
And by the way, has anyone else ever listened to the song “I Would Walk 500 Miles” and heard I wouldn’t walk 500 miles instead?
What’s a podcast you love to listen to? I’m always on the hunt for good ones to listen to while I’m working out or cleaning or editing photos or folding laundry, that is when I’m not playing episodes of the Gilmore Girls, my latest Netfilx crush.
